Yup, another short article for parents but also for all of us after going through a tough election cycle. The title, Mommy The New President Scares Me, is tongue-in-cheek but the article helps parents with kids who have been misinformed about the recent political upheaval. Have fun, share it with your friends and don’t forget to pray for our President/Elect no matter what side of the isle you are on.

Hey Andy, I’m so glad to see you writing, sharing, and helping others through the experiences God has given you to face. I wanted to share one of my favorite books if you have not read it already. Mansfield’s Manly Maxims by Stephen Mansfield. It is a wonderful read, in which he shares four maxims, but also great stories of history’s men. He shows many at their worst and lowest points. One of my favorite chapters is about Abraham Lincoln. He opens the chapter with, “The great heroes of the past you’ve grown to admire were all pitiful human beings whom we refer only because they declared war on some part of their pitifulness.” I’ve also included a podcast interview; if you have a free 40 minutes, it’s worth a listen.
