Breakfast at goodies Restaurant was the perfect way to end my stay in Duncannon. I hiked effortlessly up Peters mountain which really surprised me. 15 years before my wife and I hiked up the same mountain but I remember a much bigger climb. 20 miles today came easy but saying goodbye to old friends was much more difficult.
After getting in camp at 7pm I quickly settled in next to a stream.
The next day I was out by 715 after a night in the rain. Surprisingly everyone else beat me out of camp. the weather was good, the terrain was moderate but occasionally the rock trail was epic. I am told PA will get worse. tonight I am staying in a cabin with Yogi, and Coyote is back. He is the guy that bicycled from Alaska to Argentina.
Glad you ll be dry tonight. We just had a storm, and J said he was scared. He wasn’t really–but he clearly didn’t enjoy it. I reminded him that this could happen while we arenoutside camping. We decided that, ” You are tough! “.
(He also had a hard time walking back from the beach today–“tired”– just a bit concerning) 🙂

A friend of mine taped a presentation I did back in the Fall and recently edited it so I could post it on Youtube.com. After going to the website, just search for Andy Davidson thru hiking thru life and you should get the 3 parts. The total presentation lasts about an hour. Hopefully it will make you laugh and think. Since I last wrote, I have to say I really miss the trail and miss conversing with y’all even more. I’ve been working on another project which I hope to announce in the near future. Until then I have dreams of jumping in the truck with Lor and Belle (our Springer Spaniel) and back packing out West this summer. (Just don’t tell my employer).
Take care, “Phantom”
I can’t thank you enough for all the support. Feel free to spread the word and I apologize to some of you who may be getting this notice as a repeat.
